The Korea Craft & Design Foundation (KCDF) is a public institution under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is dedicated to promoting Korean craft and design culture through diverse programs, exhibitions, and international collaboration. KCDF plays a crucial role in preserving traditional craft techniques while nurturing the modern creative industry.
 
Gallery LVS will participate as the partner of the Korean Craft & Design Foundation (KCDF) booth at Design Miami 2025. Established in 2008, Gallery LVS has been exploring contemporary art and presenting works by international artists across a wide range of genres—covering fine art, craft, installation, and media. For over 13 years, Gallery LVS has consistently participated in major art fairs such as PAD London, COLLECT London, SOFA Chicago, Art Geneva, and Kogei Kanazawa.
 
KCDF × Gallery LVS presents the work of sixteen Korean artists who actively showcase their work on the global stage, highlighting a wide range of materials and design practices, from Korea’s deeply rooted ceramic traditions to contemporary explorations in textiles, leather, furniture, hanji (Korean mulberry paper), metal, and jewelry.

This booth highlights leading figures in Korean contemporary art, including Chun Kwang Young, a master artist who has shaped the landscape of Korean contemporary fine art through his innovative use of hanji. The presentation also features designer Bae Se Hwa with his elegant walnut chair crafted through a steaming wood technique, ceramist Kim Dong Jun with his iconic moon jars, textile artist Chang Yeon Soon, leather craft artist Yoo Da Hyun, and Kim Deok Ho with his refined white porcelain works, among others.
